Benchmarking

All EngiLab products have been tested thoroughly in order to meet specific technical requirements.

This page contains the results of benchmark tests for EngiLab products. For every product, various example models are examined and the analysis results are presented together with the analysis results of other reliable commercial analysis programs, for comparison purposes.
 

EngiLab Beam.2D ML v1.10 Benchmarking

Models examined
3 different models:
A continuous beam model   A Frame model   A truss model

Analysis type
Linear static analysis

Methodology
MSC.Nastran1 by MSC.Software, a general Finite Element Analysis software, has been used as a benchmark program. The analysis results of EngiLab Beam.2D ML v1.10 are presented together with the analysis results of MSC.Nastran for the same model.

Purpose
The purpose of this benchmark test is to investigate the accuracy of EngiLab Beam.2D ML Linear static analysis results.

Results
The report shows that the analysis results of the two programs coincide for all three models.
